The purpose of this brief is to synthesize research on coaching1 and to ofer a framework of efective coach-ing practices. Part 1 provides general information on coaching, including the need for coaching and the goals of coaching. Part 2 describes critical coaching practices that are linked to improvements in teacher practice and learner outcomes.
The purpose of this study is to identify effective co-teaching strategies to enhance collaborative teaching relationships. The study documents 1st through 4th grade classroom teachers, as well as individuals hired to work alongside the core classroom teachers, under their lead as "co-teachers"; an effort driven by the school's district to At the middle and high school level, co-teaching expanded to content classes to support English learners through an integrated approach alongside the content teacher.
