This may have been covered before, but after searching all over the place, I haven't found a satisfactory solution. I don't want to have to have a live wallpaper running in the background, just want a simple clean digital clock, something similar to the second picture, which I just edited to show what I mean.
1) Download the Widget Go app on your iPhone or iPad and open it. 2) Go past the initial welcome screens. You can tap X on the screen that asks you to purchase a plan. 3) Once you’re on the All Widgets screen, tap the Color Clocks option. 4) Pick a digital clock widget style you like. 5) From the next screen, you can customize it by selecting

Right-click on your desktop and select Gadgets to add it to your desktop. Drag the Clock gadget out of the gallery, and place it wherever you'd like on your desktop. To customize your clock gadget with a name and specific time, click the gear button to open the gadget options pane.
